An Atlantic City man was sentenced to five years in state prison for robbing and shooting at a local taxi driver. Authorities say Davidson Dominique held a gun to the cab driver's head after being picked up at the Ocean Casino last April, stealing a hundred dollars and a cell phone. As the victim attempted to follow his fleeing passenger, Dominique fired a shot directly into the taxi's windshield. Under the sentence handed down by a state judge, the 26-year-old will be required to serve nearly the entirety of his term before becoming eligible for parole.
