36 year old Brandon Jackson of Burlington Township pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm without a permit, as well as obstructing the administration of law. On April 20, 2023, the Atlantic City Police Department received information from dispatch regarding a suspicious person wearing a black satchel across his chest, who was in possession of a handgun at the Tanger Outlets in Atlantic City. Police stopped and detained Brandon Jackson, who was wearing a black satchel around his chest. He was found to be in possession of a .45 caliber Hi-Point handgun. Brandon Jackson did not possess a valid permit to carry in the State of New Jersey. Sentencing is scheduled for August 5, 2026.
