A Pleasantville man who has been registered to vote for nearly a quarter-century now faces federal charges for voting illegally and then lying about it. 73 year old David Neewilly could face 11 years in prison for the two charges, reports BreakingAC.com. The Liberian citizen first registered to vote May 5, 2003, voter records show, even though he has never been a U.S. citizen. Records show he voted in 2003, 2004 and 2005, and also voted by mail-in ballot in the Nov. 3, 2020 general election, and submitted a provisional ballot at a Pleasantville polling location Nov. 5, 2024, according to the complaint.
