In order to complete the Route 72 Manahawkin Bay Bridges project in Ship Bottom, a number of lane closures and detours will be implemented for Route 72/9th Street, Barnegat Ave., and Central Ave. beginning on Monday. Route 72 eastbound will be blocked and rerouted between Shore Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard starting at 7 p.m. on Monday and ending at 7 a.m. on Tuesday. Additionally, the U-turn from 8th to 9th Street near Hotel LBI will be closed concurrently.
