A second hearing is set for Wednesday, June 24th to discuss Atlantic County's planned public auction of the Meadowview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at 235 Dolphin Avenue, Northfield. The decision was made last year that the cost of running a county-owned nursing home was no longer feasible.As a result, the Atlantic County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a resolution in December 2025 to proceed with the sale of Meadowview. The upcoming hearing happens at 4 pm that day at the Atlantic County Institute of Technology, 5080 Atlantic Avenue, Mays Landing.
