Due to decreased state help and growing labor and health insurance costs, Egg Harbor Township's 2026 municipal budget is expected to rise by over 7% to $56.9 million. However, authorities claim prudent budgeting techniques will keep finances stable and the tax increase moderate. "This budget shows a sensible and balanced approach, managing rising expenditures, investing in essential services, and maintaining long-term financial stability for our residents," said the Mayor.
