Glassboro's Owan University is expanding its educational offerings by launching apprenticeship programs intended to alleviate the teacher shortage and open up new career options. Participants in the new programs will be able to obtain credentials while working in educational institutions. K-12 teachers, early childhood educators, principals, tutors, career and technology education teachers, elementary educators, and lead teacher routes are among the seven new programs.
