The Cape May county’s Public Works Department will have a new director starting June 1.County Administrator Kevin Lare said new director Breton Palmer most recently worked for the New Jersey Department of Transportation.At the Tuesday, May 26, meeting of the county commissioners, the board approved an amendment to the salary ordinance that set pay for the department head for Public Works at $115,000.
