Another roadway accident involving an e-bike. A Margate man riding an e-bike collided with an Illinois driver Sunday afternoon, reports BreakingAC.com. Jack Lieberman, 19, was traveling west in the bike lane in the 9300 block of Amherst Avenue in Margate at about 1 p.m., when he collided with a Toyota Camry driven by Andrew Silverman of Bloomingdale, Ill. Silverman, 67, was turning right into a parking space near Betty’s Seafood Shack, police said.Lieberman struck the front passenger side of the car, and was thrown over the handlebars of the bike.An ambulance responded to the scene, but Lieberman refused treatment.Silverman was cited for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, and the Camry was towed from the scene.
