Police said they detained a thief who was allegedly stealing money from a donation box supporting the Humane Society of Ocean City after getting information from the public. The man allegedly took himself to the cash box meant for the animal shelter, according to the Police Department. In a social media post announcing the arrest, police did not name the culprit.
