Coursey Sr., a longtime public servant and former mayoral chief of staff, on the one-year anniversary of his death. Friends, family, and city officials gathered at the newly designated Ernest D. Coursey Sr. City Hall to commemorate his decades of leadership, spanning roles from city councilman to Atlantic County commissioner. During the ceremony, his son, Ernest Coursey Jr., delivered an emotional tribute highlighting his father's humble beginnings and lifelong dedication to public service. Mayor Marty Small praised the legacy of the local leader, noting that the new name ensures everyone walking through the building's doors will be reminded of the standard Coursey set for the community.
