Police claim that a hit-and-run and other criminal activity in the Downbeach area are connected to a stolen car from Mays Landing. Police said in a press release on Friday that the green four-door Ford Bronco with a black soft top was involved in criminal mischief to a parked car on Yarmouth Avenue close to Ventnor Avenue as well as a collision at North 33rd and Amherst avenues. Police discovered the Bronco was stolen after conducting a joint investigation with officers in nearby Margate.
