A swimmer died at the hospital after being pulled from the ocean in Sea Isle City, authorities said.Lifeguards rushed in the ocean to rescue the man after he suddenly slipped underwater near the 59th Street beach at around 4 p.m. on Friday. BreakingAC.com reports lifeguards were able to locate the person and bring him to shore, where lifesaving measures were initiated by the Sea Isle City Beach Patrol, police, emergency medical services and paramedics. The swimmer was transported to a hospital, but was pronounced dead.No information was released Saturday about the man’s identity.
