On Tuesday, around 70 people put on their sleeves to give blood in support of the police. After suffering severe injuries in an on-duty shooting in June, Sgt. Christian Ivanov's life was spared by numerous blood transfusions. Ivanov received treatment at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus following a catastrophic blood loss, and the American Red Cross and AtlantiCare organized the blood drive.
