32 year old Bryan Miranda from Pleasantville was sentenced on two counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS and one count of Unlawful Possession of a Handgun without a Permit. Miranda was sentenced to an aggregate term of six years in New Jersey State Prison with a period of parole ineligibility of three and a half years. On June 27, 2021, Atlantic City Police were dispatched in response to 9-1-1 call reporting shots fired and that a man was shot. Upon arrival, witnesses reported to the officers that a male had fled in a dark colored sedan. On July 1, 2021, a vehicle matching that description and registered to Bryan Miranda was located. It was discovered that the vehicle had five bullet holes that were covered by stickers. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a loaded handgun located in the trunk.
