Tracy Stuart, the chief of police at Stockton University, demonstrated that a dog can be both a criminal's deadliest enemy and a man's best friend. This week at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City, Stuart's K-9 companion Freya won the explosives detecting division of the US Police Canine Association's 2026 National Detector Dog Trials with a flawless score. "To be honest, it doesn't feel quite real," Stuart remarked. Dreams do come true. It's nice to get that confirmation that planning pays dividends.
