A Piscataway man faces three years in state prison after pleading guilty to drug distribution charges stemming from a traffic stop earlier this year. Atlantic City Police pulled over 43-year-old Colvin Cumberbatch on April 1st, where a K-9 unit helped officers uncover fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine on his person. Despite objections from prosecutors, the court released the Piscataway resident while he awaits his formal sentencing. Cumberbatch is scheduled to be sentenced before a state Superior Court judge on September 29th.
