A Pleasantville man who admitted fatally beating his pregnant girlfriend “from head to toe,” and then trying to cover it up was sentenced to 30 years in prison without parole. According to BreakingAC.com, Boris Lainez Rosales, now 28, pleaded guilty in May.He called 911 at about 2 a.m. Dec. 3, 2024, saying his live-in girlfriend fell down about 12 stairs and was unresponsive. Police arrived at the home on West Edgewater Avenue and found Leslianette Quintana Betancourt dead. A follow up investigation by police lead to them rebuking Rosales' initial version of what took place.
