The public is being asked to assist State Police in identifying human remains that were found in the marshy region near Golden Hammock Thorofare in Brigantine in 1982. On May 14, 1982, the skeletal remains of an unnamed male were found in a swampy meadow near the thorofare, according to State Police. The unidentified male died sometime in 1981 or 1982. The deceased is thought to have been a Caucasian male between the ages of 35 and 45 who weighed roughly 165 pounds and stood about 5 feet, 6 inches tall.
