On April 19, at approximately 2:00 AM, Northfield Police observed two individuals riding bicycles eastbound on Walnut Avenue without lights and on the wrong side of the roadway. The individuals matched the description of suspects involved in a vehicle theft and prior incidents reported the previous night. Officers quickly coordinated and attempted to stop the riders. After failing to comply with commands, both juveniles were apprehended following a brief pursuit. The individuals, both 15-year-old males from Pleasantville and Atlantic City, were found to be in possession of items linked to multiple recent thefts and burglaries in the area. One juvenile had an outstanding warrant out of Atlantic City. Both juveniles were charged with multiple offenses.
