A large-scale hotel that would loom over the Ocean City Boardwalk and overshadow the surrounding neighborhoods would be a no-no. But a smaller, upscale resort-style hotel that would also feature entertainment and high-end retail shops might work. BreakingAC.com reports that was the key finding of a City Council subcommittee that spent months studying the future development of the Boardwalk, including which type of project should be built in place of the former Wonderland Pier amusement park.
