On Wednesday, Alfredo I. Huertas-Vidal, from Vineland, was indicted by an Atlantic County Grand jury for first-degree Aggravated Manslaughter. On November 14, 2025, at approximately 3:31 a.m., Huertas-Vidal was involved in a motor vehicle crash on Post Road in Buena Vista Township. Huertas-Vidal’s vehicle left the roadway on multiple occasions before ultimately striking a tree in the woods. Huertas-Vidal’s front seat passenger, Luis D. Martinez, 43, also from Vineland died as a result of the crash. Subsequent investigation revealed Huertas-Vidal was traveling at approximately 108 m.p.h. and had narcotics in his system at the time of the crash.
