After entering a guilty plea on Thursday to charges of car theft, burglary, and obstruction, a 44-year-old man from Galloway Township faces three years in prison, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. Jesse Winters' West Morton Avenue home was searched by Galloway police on December 3, 2024. According to a news statement from the Prosecutor's Office, Winters hindered the investigation by trying to escape into the woods, where he was eventually apprehended.
