According to Atlantic County officials, some clients may notice an adjustment in their monthly Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. New government regulations have reduced deduction allowed for Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWDs) and increased employment requirements for citizens receiving food stamps through SNAP. Additionally, the new rule increases the age requirement for parents of children between the ages of 14 and 17 as well as for people between the ages of 18 and 64.
