A panel of scientists and coastal specialists stated on Thursday that the Jersey Shore's beaches survived the winter in good condition and that even a significant blizzard in February did not cause as much damage as had been anticipated. Additionally, they stated that replenishment operations are planned for this year in the coastal municipalities that suffered the most erosion, especially in Cape May County.
