An accused Atlantic City drug dealer initially ordered released by a judge will now stay jailed pending the outcome of his case. According to BreakingAC.com, 35 year old Amir Hardy was arrested last month with 186 bricks of heroin, or about 9,300 individual bags, according to the charges against him. Police also confiscated $3,473 in cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales. Judge Dorothy Garrabrant ordered Hardy released April 20, saying his criminal history was dated and that his history does not include violence. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office disagreed, appealing the decision, which kept Hardy jailed until that was complete.
