A move to put a moratorium on data center building is being pursued by the Hamilton Township Committee. On Monday night, the committee proposed an ordinance that would prohibit data center construction until the year's end. The ordinance will be the subject of a public hearing on June 15 at the municipal building on 13th Street at 6:30 p.m. Township representatives will continue to investigate the center's effects on communities throughout that time and provide the committee with a report.
