57 year old Jerome Ellis from Northfield pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree possession with the intent to distribute CDS and two counts of second-degree possession of a handgun without a permit. On January 22, 2025, New Jersey State Police and other participating law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at 311 Maple Ave., Northfield as a result a narcotics investigation. During the search of the residence, detectives located two defaced firearms in the basement of the residence, one imitation firearm in the living room section of the residence, and approximately $5,692.00 scattered throughout the residence. Ellis was located outside of the residence at the time of the execution of the search warrant.
