A Hammonton man accused of scamming an 80-year-old woman out of almost $914,000 was ordered to be released by an Atlantic County Superior Court judge on Wednesday. The judge concluded that the prosecution had not proven the man should be detained pending trial. The decision was made following two postponements of 50 year old James M. Donio's detention hearing at his lawyer's request.
