After Hamilton Township locals voiced concerns that Amazon delivery trucks would use the area as a cut-through to a planned fulfillment site at the former Atlantic City Race Course, the township is taking steps to limit vehicle access to Paddock and Lombard streets. At the racetrack location, Amazon intends to construct a one-story, approximately one million-square-foot warehouse utilizing automated storage and retrieval technology. The regulation states that all streets from Cologne to Liepzig avenues will be subject to the truck limitations. The law was approved by the Township Committee on Monday night.
