The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office stated on Monday that a man from Atlantic City admitted to repeatedly hitting another man in the head with a hammer earlier this year. Before Judge Ralph Paolone, 42-year-old Lamar Parker entered a guilty plea to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Parker will serve four years in prison as part of the plea deal. The date of sentencing is August 19. On February 22, police were called to Congress Avenue after hearing of a dispute with a hammer.
