Following a $100 million bequest from its longtime chairman, Cooper University Health Care is preparing to alter its name. According to a statement released by Cooper on July 28, the donation from Camden businessman and politician George E. Norcross III "is the largest single charitable gift in the institution's history." Investments "prioritizing education and community activities that produce jobs, training, and opportunity" will be supported by the funds, the statement continued.
