A workplace accident in Atlantic City on Thursday morning left a man seriously injured and hospitalized, according to the Atlantic City Police Department. SouthJerseyNewsBeat.com reports officers responded at 8:23 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026, to the area of Annapolis & Ventnor Avenue, where they found an unconscious man lying on the ground. A preliminary investigation determined that the man had been working on a building when his ladder came into direct contact with electrical wires, electrocuting him. CPR was administered and he was transported to the hospital.
