According to federal prosecutors, a Jersey City woman who had previously worked for the USPS acknowledged in federal court that she had broken into post offices six times in order to steal mail. U.S. Attorney Robert Frazer said that Zyeama Johnson, 31, entered a guilty plea to six counts of post office burglary before U.S. District Judge Madeline Cox Arleo in Newark federal court on July 28. The burglaries were carried out by Johnson in January and February of 2023.
