Dan has guest Bill Elliot on right at the start of today's radio show. Bill and his wife Muriel, experienced an unimaginable tragedy at the loss of their naval academy son, Ensign John Elliot in July of 2000. Over twenty six years ago. Bill and Muriel turned the tragedy into a way to help others avoid the same grief they felt, went through, and no doubt still carry with them today, into journey to stop drunk driving and senseless tragedies like they experienced. This Saturday is the HERO Campaign Walk in Ocean City on Sunday, October 18th, and Bill will be on to talk about that, as well as some new federal grant funding made possible by efforts from Congressman Jeff Van Drew to help further their mission of Sober Driving across the country.
