Personalities

Blake Rossell

Blake grew up in the South Jersey area at the shore in Margate, NJ. He attended St. Augustine Prep High School in Richland, NJ where he was a scholar student-athlete playing both varsity basketball and baseball. Blake received much recognition and awards during his time at St. Augustine and was named the "Newcomer of the Year" his junior year and was a 2 year starter for the Prep's top Premier Boys Basketball Program in South Jersey and the State. After receiving many offers to play college basketball, Blake accepted a basketball scholarship to play at DeSales University in Center Valley, PA. He attended DeSales University and played for their Men's Basketball team for 1 1/2 years before transferring back home to South Jersey to Stockton University where he finished his last 3 years of schooling and played for the Stockton Men's Basketball Team for the Ospreys. Blake graduated Stockton University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies.

Blake now is a High School English Teacher at St. Joseph Academy and Head Assistant Boys Basketball Coach for the Wildcats in Hammonton, NJ. Blake throughout the summer months does personal basketball training and runs his own camps and clinics all summer long to boys and girls of all youth ages. Blake also works as part of the main security team at Jerry Blavat's famous Memories in Margate.

Blake's true passion is media, radio and broadcasting. He has the personality for it, is charismatic, well spoken and very outgoing. He has had an aspiration to be on Radio/ TV from a very young age and loves being a part of the WOND family.
